Description
Umart has the Ubiquiti UniFi Cloud Gateway Max (UCG-MAX) for $409. This is an all-in-one network gateway with a built-in UniFi controller, router, firewall and IDS/IPS — but note that wireless access points are sold separately.
The UCG-MAX is the newer gateway in Ubiquiti's UniFi lineup, designed as the central controller for a UniFi network. It handles routing, VPN, traffic management and network security in one box. Unlike consumer routers, it doesn't include Wi-Fi — you pair it with separate UniFi access points for wireless coverage. Umart is a well-known Australian IT retailer with physical stores in Brisbane and online delivery nationwide. If you're upgrading from a consumer router to a prosumer network setup, this is a clean entry point.
