Description
Google Nest Cam Outdoor (2K HDR) for $147 at Amazon AU. A wireless security camera with live view, smart alerts and integration with the Google Home app.
At $147, the Google Nest Cam Outdoor is well-priced for a 2K HDR wireless security camera from a major brand. The 2K resolution captures noticeably more detail than standard 1080p cameras — you can actually read number plates and recognise faces at reasonable distances. It runs on battery (with optional wired power), connects via Wi-Fi, and integrates directly with Google Home so you can check the live feed from your phone, tablet or Nest Hub display. Smart alerts distinguish between people, animals, vehicles and packages, cutting down on false notifications from wind or shadows. The Google Home app works reliably and is constantly being updated — a big advantage over cheaper Chinese cameras with clunky third-party apps. If you already have Google Home devices, adding a Nest Cam is seamless.
